This is a thrilling adventurous activity that is involves use of inflatable raft to navigate through the white waters of great Nile River dealing with different degrees of violent water with increased
gradient creating turbulence. The river has different degrees of fast flowing water and are graded from 1-5 offering the best white water rafting experience. This activity is not for the faint hearted travelers but those who what to conquer their water phobia are welcome on board.
White water rafting offer a best platform to paddle while in an inflatable boat as you dodge the rolling water waves upon reaching different grades. You get to blend with other rafters while enjoying additional adventures of bird spotting, watch local women at the river banks washing clothes, kids swimming and fishermen on duty and spectacular island views.
The best way to experience an adrenaline rush is to visit the griffin falls camp in the canopy of Mabira forest as well engage in a Zip lining activity. The activity begins with a one hour hike through Mabira forest passing via rare tree species, bird species such as palm nut vultures, African fish eagle and primate species like the red tailed monkeys. After the hike you head for a climb on a tall Kirundu tree with the assistance of the spikes pinned on the tree which is 18 meters tall. 
At the top gear straps are tied around your body and connected to the zip line trolley onto the cable. This activity involves cruising on a 78 meter zip wire from one tree to another crossing River Musamya from high up the mabira tree canopies and a spectacular view of a variety of magnificent Griffin waterfalls and monkey species such as grey cheeked mangabey, vervet monkeys and red tailed monkey.

The heaviest weight considered for zip lining should not exceed 125 kilograms.
Jinja City is home to the might Nile and Lake Victoria. Boat cruises are carried out along the Nile River as well the Lake Victoria and a tour to Jinja without a cruise is not considered satisfactory . The Nile at some point has serene spots that are perfect for cruising and an amazing platform to blend in nature at its best. Visitors on cruise get a chance to view a variety of 
natural attractions such as bird species, aquatic wildlife, vegetation surrounding, islands and a one way ticket platform for photography. If you need to get soaked with the Nile water then tubing activity is all that I recommend as you experience the thrilling 1-3 rapids under a guidance of a tubing instructor.
Quad biking
This activity involves an adventurous experience on a four wheeled motor bike while on a sightseeing safari. It is rode by anyone regardless of having any experience in driving. The adventure is so overwhelming were the travelers slide across the pot holes, humps and puddles in remote muddy areas. The ride will depend on the trail of your choice and the safari is rewarding passing through plantations, forests, gardens, rural areas, communities and many more.

Sport Fishing
There’s no better place in Uganda for sport fishing like Jinja City. Jinja is home to the largest potion of the Lake Victoria and also home to the source of the World’s longest River the Nile. Sport Fishing on Lake Victoria is an activity readily available for tourists visiting Jinja. Very good boats,
skipper and fishing rods can be found from the sport fishing companies in Jinja. The fishing hours are flexible through out the day , however early morning and late evening are recommended. The activity takes between 3 to 4 hours for a satisfactory experience.
Horse riding
Riding at the back of the horse is so amazing and fun sitting behind a wild calm animal while exploring the rural areas along the Nile river banks. The ride offers a spectacular view of the rolling hills and other natural wonders overlooking the Nile river valley and beautiful scenery of the source of the Nile. While on the horse’s back you follow specific village trails, bridge paths and roads along forests but not busy roads. These creatures also prefer serene spots were they feel comfort. Horse 
riding is arranged for group safaris, single riders, families, couple rides and pony rides are also available for kid.
